Galaxy VIII, living in solitude, is like a poor and remote island, compared to the other seven galaxies, which cluster together to gain mutual help. At that moment, for fighting against the powerful Space Union, some handful of anti-government forces were forced into an alliance. And Galaxy VIII, unfortunately, became their stronghold. Since the beginning of the Celestial epoch, Galaxy VIII has been occupied by the Star Pirates for 100 years. It is not until the Celestial calendar 136 that General LU Xin recovered the lost territory and rebuilt the channels between Galaxy VIII and Seven Official Galaxies.

Over the past 100 years, the Space Union has been developing in light speed under the torches of “science” and “humanity”. Whilst Galaxy VIII plummeted to an all-time low by the constant conflicts and chaos caused by star pirates. The gap between the two sides, as large as the gap between the homo sapiens and the ancient chimpanzees, was by no means to be narrowed.
After General LU Xin recovered the territory, the Union sent a squad to investigate this galaxy, only to disappointedly find that this damn place was completely infertile and worthless. Therefore, the Union established a "democratic self-government" system in Galaxy VIII -- that is to say, the chimpanzees were released back to nature, leaving them to stew in their own juice.
